About 300 chefs from all German-speaking parts of Europe met in October in Rankweil, Austria, for the largest international knowledge congress. The event was organised by Koch G5, the federation of the five chefs' associations from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, South Tyrol and Luxembourg. Young chefs from all five member countries were on site. They had come individually or in groups, some together with their chefs and many with colleagues from the same company or vocational school class.
